Cork Company of the Year Awards open for applications

Cork Chamber has opened applications for the annual Cork Company of the Year Awards, inviting businesses from across the region to showcase their ambition, innovation and leadership.

The awards are open for entries across four categories: Emerging, SME, Large and International Cork Company of the Year.

The Overall Cork Company of the Year title was awarded to Qualcomm last year, recognising a landmark year in which the company announced further investment in its Cork operations, expanding its advanced research and development capabilities in artificial intelligence and next-generation computing while reinforcing Cork's position as a global technology hub.

Cork’s strength as a business location is built on the quality and diversity of the companies that grow, invest and create employment here," Cork Chamber President Susie Horgan said.

"These awards give us an opportunity to recognise their contribution and showcase the businesses helping to shape Cork’s future."

Chris Wood partner at the title sponsor KPMG said the awards shine a spotlight on the enterprises that are defining the future of one of Europe's most vibrant city regions.
