Department of Finance warns of major uncertainty despite predicted growth in the economy
The Department of Finance has said Ireland faces threats from major uncertainty in the world economy.
The body has issued the warning in a report sent to the EU commission.
This is despite the fact that economy here is expected to grow by nearly 5% this year.
The Department also warns that global economic uncertainty is higher than at any stage since the worst of the financial crisis.
It also highlights uncertainty about China and the possibility of a Brexit as major concerns.
