The Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore has said a deal where China is investing €100m here will create jobs.
The China Ireland Technology Growth Capital Fund will make equity investments in fast-growing companies in Ireland that have a strategic interest or presence in China.
It is the first investment in Europe by the China Investment Corporation.
