Index indicates faster rate of decline in construction

Construction activity in Ireland decreased at the fastest pace last month, a rate of decline not seen since September of last year.

According to the Ulster Bank Construction PMI for August, activity in the sector fell to 40.7 - down from 42.2 the previous month.
