UK government urged to kickstart growth
The CBI's director-general today hit out at the British government over its failure to get "momentum and urgency" into plans to kickstart the UK's economic recovery.
John Cridland said ministers appeared to be "dazzled in the headlights", resulting in a lack of progress on the growth strategy set out by British Chancellor George Osborne seven months ago.
