ISEQ down over 2%

The ISEQ index of Irish shares slumped 69 points (2.2%) to close at 3,088 this evening.

Among the fallers, Merrion Pharmaceuticals was down 20% to €0.20; Independent News & Media fell 6.25% to €0.27; CRH fell 4.3% to end at €13.90, while Paddy Power was down 1.8% to €46.40 and Elan fell 1.8% to close at €10.29.
