The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 12.83 points to 2,562.74, a gain of 0.50%.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 12.83 points to 2,562.74, a gain of 0.50%.

Among the risers, Tullow Oil added 68c to €15.79; Grafton Group was up 7c to €2.75; Elan Corp climbed 19c to €8.04 and Kerry Group added 21c to €26.05.
