ISEQ up at close

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 28.76 points to 2,566.22, a rise of 1.13%.

Among the climbers, Paddy Power added €1.30 to €33.00; Kerry Group climbed 80c to €27.35; Ryanair lifted 3c to €3.14 and CRH was up 10c to €12.40.

On the fallers' board, Elan Corp was down 12c to €7.18, Kingspan slipped 10c to €6.25 and Glanbia closed down 3c to €4.11.
