ISEQ index up at close

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 15.77 points to 2,925.03, a gain of 0.54% .

Among the risers, CRH added 10c to €15.18, Ryanair climbed 4c to €3.40, Kenmare Resources added 3c to €0.50 and Aer Lingus was up 1c to €0.80.

On the fallers' board, Tullow Oil shed 22c to €14.98, Merrion Pharmaceuticals was down 19c to €1.70, Kerry Group slipped 10c to €29.65, Elan Corp was down 8c to €5.88, Smurfit Kappa closed 6c off at €8.25 and Greencore finished 4c down at €1.17.
