The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed down 2.86 points to 2,683.40, a drop of 0.11%.
Among the fallers, Grafton Group shed 9c to €3.05; Elan was down 6c to €3.91; FBD was also down 6c to €6.18 and Glanbia slipped 4c to €3.40.
