IFA to meet Cowen on Budget

Farming representatives are meeting with the Taoiseach this afternoon to discuss December's Budget.

President of the IFA John Bryan said he will be telling Brian Cowen that the Government must support agriculture.

He said latest figures show agri-food exports have risen 14% this year, and that the Gov

vernment has an opportunity to invest in a sector that will create jobs.
