ISEQ marginally up

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 7.21 points to 2,807.11 this evening, a gain of 0.26%.

Among the risers, CRH added 22c to €13.66; Tullow Oil gained 16c to €14.02; Aryzta was up 15c to €33.50; Elan Corp added 8c to €3.61 and Glanbia was up 6c to €3.46.

On the fallers' board, Ryanair slipped 9c to €3.85; Smurfit Kappa shed 7c to €7.52; Kerry Group slipped 4c to €25.70; C&C was down 3c to €3.11 and FBD was also down 3c, to €6.81.

Financial stocks were mixed, with AIB up 1c to €0.81 and Irish Life & Permanent lifting 8c to €1.80, but Bank of Ireland closing down 1c at €0.76.
