ISEQ marginally up in early trading
The ISEQ index of Irish shares was up 12.51 points to 3,112.22 at 11.30am this morning, a rise of 0.40%.
Among the risers, CRH was up 24c to €19.64; Kerry Group added 20c to €23.45; FBD was up 17c to €6.45; C&C gained 8c to €3.29; Ryanair climbed 6c to €3.86 and United Drug gained 5c to €2.25.
On the fallers' board, Paddy Power shed 70c to €25.50; Aryzta slipped 21c to €30.20; Elan Corp was down 15c to €3.98; Providence shed 10c to €1.95 and Kingspan slipped 8c to €5.91.
Financial stocks were quiet on the while, with AIB and Bank of Ireland both static at €1.00 and €0.83 respectively, and Irish Life & Permanent up 4c to €1.87.
