Cabinet discussing Greece bailout

The Finance Minister Brian Lenihan is briefing his Cabinet colleagues about the multi-billion euro bailout of Greece.

Ireland is to contribute around €1.3bn of the money to the Euro-IMF fund over three years.

But another national strike is underway and protestors are back on the streets.

Going into this afternoon's Cabinet meeting, Communications Minister Eamon Ryan warned the Greek Government would have to impose hard choices similar to what the Government did here.
