Ford has confirmed the sale of Swedish car maker Volvo to Chinese group Geely.

Ford has confirmed the sale of Swedish car maker Volvo to Chinese group Geely.

Ford named Geely as the preferred bidder for Volvo in November.

The deal is worth an estimated £1bn (€1.12bn).
