Apache Pizza to create 85 jobs
Apache Pizza is to create 85 jobs in a significant expansion of its operations over the next 12 months.
The Irish-owned company, which opened a new store in Galway last week, is to open an additional three new stores in an attempt to grow its business by 18%.
The new stores will be in Ennis, Co Clare, Greystones, Co Wicklow and a new 50-seater restaurant in Balbriggan, Co Dublin.
Robert Pendleton, CEO of Apache, says they are delighted with the opening of the Galway store: “We have been trying for a number of years to enter the Galway pizza market but have not until now found the right location, and it’s just in time for the launch of our new Happy Hours promotion.”
Apache currently has 40 outlets throughout the country and employs 750 people nationwide. The company, which started off with just two branches on Dublin’s northside in 1996, is now Ireland’s largest pizza chain.
From its production facility based in Balbriggan, Co Dublin, Apache produces over 100,000 pizza dough balls a month and uses only Irish-sourced food products in all its stores.
