IHF: Opens skies could generate €1bn in revenue

The Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) today welcomed the ratification of a draft Open Skies agreement between the EU and the US as “a significant breakthrough”.

The organisation stated that the agreement could herald an additional one million US visitors to Ireland annually during the next seven years, representing an increase in revenue of €1bn to the Irish economy.
