ISEQ drops slightly

The ISEQ index of Irish shares fell slightly this morning, down 34.19 points to 9514.65.

Horizon was the biggest relative mover this morning, seeing it's share price increase by more than 10% to €1.07.

Ryanair had a slight drop, down €0.10 to €5.75. This came on the back of the company accusing the Dublin Airport Authority of recklessly trading.

In a letter revealed today Ryanair says it will not use the planned second terminal at the airport, adding that if it succeeds in taking over Aer Lingus, it will make sure that airline will not use it either.

In response, the DAA says carriers who oppose new infrastructure at certain periods, can 'quickly use that infrastructure when it subsequently suits their purposes'.

The financial institutions experience slight movement in their prices. AIB made the only gain, up €0.07 to €23.20. The rest all had a slight drop, Bank of Ireland down €0.08 to €17.32, IL&P dropped to €20.81 while Anglo Irish fell €0.15 to €16.23.
