Fyffes spin-off property company seals Milton Keynes land deal
Dublin-based property company and Fyffes spin-off Blackrock International Land plc has bought 16,000 square feet of modern office accommodation in Milton Keynes in England for €4.5m.
The offices are let to covenants on long-term leases with an average unexpired term of seven years at a total rent of €280,000 per annum.
Blackrock Chairman Carl McCann said: "Several other transactions in a number of locations are under consideration at this time and we would anticipate further announcements this year."
Blackrock listed on May 15. The Milton Keynes purchase brings the total investment by Blackrock since it listed to €13.5m, including the recent acquisitions of an investment property in Dublin and development lands in Edinburgh.
Blackrock was incorporated for to effecting a demerger by Fyffes plc of its property undertaking.
