The Minister for Communications Noel Dempsey has handed over the management of TV licence fees to RTE.

The Minister for Communications Noel Dempsey has handed over the management of TV licence fees to RTE.

He said, however, that he would retain control over licence fee levels. The handover is intended to reduce the current amount of fee evasion.
