The ISEQ index made a positive start to the week this morning adding 24.21 to 6622.25.

The ISEQ index made a positive start to the week this morning adding 24.21 to 6622.25.

The main mover this morning was South Wharf which was up 70c (30.43%) to €3 in early trading. The company said this morning that it has applied to the Dublin Court Company to acquire a site in Ringsend.

South Wharf says it aims to redevelop the site of the former Ringsend glass factory.

Meanwhile, there were mixed fortunes for the financials this morning. AIB and Anglo Irish were on the up, adding 8c and 5c to €17.65 and €10.45 respectively.

Irish Life & Permanent remained unchanged at €14.40, while Bank of Ireland was down 4c at €13.61.

The most traded stocks this morning were Grafton, Anglo Irish, Ryanair and DCC.
