Energia wins Harvey Norman contract
Australian consumer electronics and furniture group Harvey Norman has awarded its electricity supply rights in Ireland to Energia.
Under the new contract, worth over €200,000 annually, Energia will initially supply Harvey Norman’s two sites in North Dublin and Louth.
Energia currently has a 22% market share of the business electricity market.
Mr Tony Smith, general manager for finance and administration at Harvey Norman said: “In establishing Harvey Norman in Ireland we have to control our overheads as the cost of business in Ireland is so high. Energia presented a great opportunity to reduce our electricity costs.”
