Takeover approach for Hit Entertainment

Children’s programme licensing group Hit Entertainment today said it had received a takeover approach.

Hit, which has Bob the Builder and Thomas the Tank Engine in its portfolio of characters, said it was in late stage talks with an unnamed party that could bring an offer at 300p per share for the company.
