ISEQ down in morning trade
The ISEQ index of Irish shares fell slightly today in morning trading, down by 8.55 to 5376.83.
After strong opening performances yesterday, the banks saw falls or stayed static.
Allied Irish Bank, which this week began refunding customers who fell foul of overcharging on a number of transactions, saw shares fall by three cent and is now trading at €12.83. Bank of Ireland is unchanged at €10.83, while Anglo Irish Bank fell seven cent to €13.40.
C&C pulled up by four cent to €2.64.
Heitons and Grafton both saw rises (or 2 cent and 11 cent respectively).
