Securicor in merger talks

Security group Securicor today confirmed it was in talks with Danish rival Group 4 regarding a possible merger of the firms’ security businesses.

The merger would allow shareholders from both companies to hold shares in the newly-formed business, which would be listed in both London and Copenhagen.
