Business services firm DCC today announced that Morgan Crowe is to retire from the board as MD of the company's healthcare division on July 8 2004, following his 60th birthday.

Business services firm DCC today announced that Morgan Crowe is to retire from the board as MD of the company's healthcare division on July 8 2004, following his 60th birthday.

On his retirement he will take up the position of non-executive Deputy Chairman of the board of DCC's healthcare division.

In a statement to the stock exchange today DCC also announced that Frank Fenn, a senior Diageo executive, has been recruited to the position of managing director of DCC's food and beverage division with effect from next April.

The company also said there would be a change in the responsibilities of Tommy Breen to MD of DCC's energy division with effect from April next and of Kevin Murray, who will become MD of DCC's healthcare division in July and will continue as MD of the company's growing environmental services business, which is to become a new division.

DCC also announced the promotion of DCCs head of group IT, Donal Murphy, to the position of MD of DCC's SerCom division with effect from April next.

DCC yesterday said that it's subsidiary DMA had been awarded £10.2m (€14.8m) in London's High Court against Pihsiang Machinery Manufacturing following its breach of a long term supply agreement with DCC's UK-based mobility products subsidiary.

Today on the ISEQ shares in DCC were trading flat at €12.25 just after 2pm today.
