Coca-Cola removes adverts
Coca-Cola is to remove advertising for soft drinks from the front of all its 4,000 vending machines in secondary schools across Britain.
The step is a major shift for the global giant and follows a decision last month to replace the same prominent pictures of products on the front of vending machines in Scottish schools.
Coca-Cola Enterprises, the distribution arm of the company, said the decision recognised the âconflictâ between vending machines in schools and classrooms as âcommercial-freeâ areas.
