ISEQ index down in morning trading
The Dublin Index was down 43 points, or .9%, to 4720.45 just before 11am today.
The banks followed the FTSE-100 trend and were mainly negative with Bank of Ireland down €0.14 to €10.50, Irish Life & Permanent fell €0.20 to €12.00 and Anglo was down €0.08 to €10.22.
Waterford Wedgwood dropped €0.01 to €0.30, bucking the positive gains on Friday after the company announced improved sales trends.
Ryanair was down €0.15 to €6.55 under continuing uncertainty about the Charleroi ruling from Brussels.
Among the big industrials CRH fell €0.08 to €15.62 and DCC was down €0.04 to €10.81.
Other losers included Ryanair down €0.15 to €6.55, under continuing uncertainty about the Charleroi ruling from Brussels, and Elan was down €0.13 to €4.58.
