Drunk Cork man threatened to 'punch the head off' gardaí and called them 'c***s and spastics'

Gardaí were trying to help a 61-year-old man who was so drunk he was a danger to himself or others, but he verbally abused them and threatened to “punch the head off ya”.

Stephen O’Shaughnessy, of El Paso, Point Road, Crosshaven, Co Cork, pleaded guilty at Cork District Court to charges of being drunk and a danger, and also engaging in threatening behaviour.
