Havok to move into Digital Hub
The Digital Hub has announced that technology company Havok is to locate its corporate headquarters in The Digital Hub in Dublin.
Havok an international player in the Games Sector will be the first tenant for Digital Depot; a newly launched building, which has been refurbished in partnership with Dublin City Council and Enterprise Ireland. Havok will locate its core team of 30 employees in The Digital Hub as well as their Research and Development Centre. In addition employees from overseas offices in San Francisco, UK, and Germany will avail of the facilities as required.
According to Mr David O' Meara, CEO, Havok: "Havok is a world leader in game enhancement and we will benefit greatly from being positioned at the heart of digital media development in Ireland. We look forward to working in such a creative and innovative environment and recognise the competitive advantages that such surroundings offer".
Digital Depot is a 1950's warehouse building, which has been redeveloped as a location for Digital Media Enterprise. It comprises 20,000 sq ft of lettable space, which is broadband enabled, a network operation centre, as well as meeting spaces and a café. Havok will locate its entire Irish Operation in The Digital Hub.

Havok technology is being used by over 100 of the world's leading game developers and publishers to enhance gameplay in their upcoming titles. High profile games about to be launched using Havok include Half-life 2, Max Payne 2, Deus ex 2, and Starsky and Hutch.
