NTT DoCoMo sells 10 millionth 3G phone
NTT DoCoMo has said that it has sold more than 10 million camera phones since launching its first model 11 months ago.
It has found that its "i-shot" photo messaging service is very popular.
This service allows still images to be transmitted to any device which can receive e-mails. 60% of its sales were to people between the ages of 20 and 30.
A report in the Financial Times says that the company expects subscribers to its 3G mobile phone service to reach one million this year.
The CEO appears confident that once this figure is reached the subscriber numbers will really take off for its FOMA 3G service.
