Datalex issues positive outlook

Datalex, the Irish travel software developer has said that it expects Q3 revenues to be broadly inline with the company's Q2 figures as a result of an up climb in the travel industry.

The company saw its H1 operating costs reduced by almost 40%.

According to the company's chief executive officer Neil Beck: "This period has seen some signs of recovery in the travel industry, in general, and the fuller realisation among prospective clients of the business value of Datalex's Internet and e-Commerce technology. Datalex is well positioned to capitalize on these improving market conditions."

The company expects the trend of reducing its losses to continue, saying it expects to break even soon. The company has also said that its cost saving measures were making progress.
