Dyson staff get vacuum leaving present

Staff being made redundant at a Dyson vacuum cleaner plant, have been given a vacuum cleaner as a farewell present.

The 800 job losses at the plant in Malmesbury, Wiltshire in the UK were announced in February.

The Daily Mirror reports production is being switched to Malaysia where wages are a fraction of those in the UK.
