Vodafone shares fell yesterday as ABN Amro lowered its expectations for the company and said that its share price was overvalued.

There were worries also about J-Phone, Vodafone's joint venture in Japan.

Following a warning by NTT DoCoMo that its subscriber growth would be 30% less than 2001, there are fears that the growth of Japanese mobile companies is slowing and that revenues may be affected.

Worries about Vodafone and revenues for mobile companies also hit the share price of mm02.
