Logica to cut 90 jobs in Ireland
Logica has announced that it will reduce its workforce by 15% in the UK and Ireland.
The computer services and consultancy firm currently employs 550 people in Cork and Dublin, and it is believed that it could shed up to 90 Irish-based staff.
Logica said that almost half the job losses have occurred through voluntary redundancy.
The company entered the Irish telecoms market in 1997 when it acquired Aldiscon, an Irish mobile telecoms software company.
