Golden Vale confirm approach from Kerry

The board of Golden Vale plc has this afternoon confirmed that it has received an initial approach from the Kerry Group, which may lead to an offer for the company.

However, in a statement it says the value of the approach is inadequate and "fails to recognise either the underlying value or the potential of the company".
