Aer Rianta makes record pre-tax profits
The Government-backed Aer Rianta company that runs Dublin, Shannon and Cork airports, made a record pre-tax profit of £51m last year and catered for the greatest number of passengers in its history.
The profit figure was up by 21% on the 1999 figure and turnover increased by 14%, to £335m. Passenger numbers came to 4.8 million, up by 2%.
