Watch: Which Ireland Euro 2016 song is Top of the Pops?

Some people think the real battle at Euro 2016 is for the Henri Delaunay trophy? They are wrong.

Watch: Which Ireland Euro 2016 song is Top of the Pops?

The real prize is the best football song and, as always, Ireland ranks high in terms of producing some of the best tunes.

The 'Rocky Road to Poland' defined the musical landscape of Ireland's Euro 2012, but who takes the title for the 2016 edition?

Here is our unofficial top five Euro 2016 football song chart.

5. Seo Linn - The Irish Roar (Official FAI Euro 2016 Song)

The official song is a bit of a bland effort set to dance beat with a bit of ceilí and qualifying commentary lumped in for good measure. Uninspiring.

4. John Paul Wright - Dance in France

This is like the Happy Mondays on a Sunday morning after the Saturday night before. It's laid back and almost hypnotic. The beat will stay in your head long after you've listened.

3. Dermot and Dave - Robbie Keane In A Limousine

Like a football version of Mark McCabe's 'Maniac 2000', it's brilliance is its repetitiveness. A solid effort from Today FM's Dermot and Dave and extra points for the 'Ooh La La Paul McGrath' line which should be a big hit on French terraces.

2. Davy O'Neill and Friends - Off To France We Go

Who knew that Bluegrass and football would go together?

1. Andy Wilson and the Longshots - Summer of '16

This has everything; a catchy melody, a shuffling beat, great lyrics slagging off Jack Grealish and Stephen Ireland and an inventive video with Subbuteo and dancing Bible characters. This is our number one for the Boys in Green at Euro 2016.
