Derry ‘Botox Queen’ Leah Totton posts €1m in sales
The medical doctor claimed the BBC Apprentice crown in 2013 with a plan to launch a Botox empire of cosmetic clinics.
Ms Totton’s win resulted in celebrity investor Alan Sugar investing £250,000 (€332,000) in the business.
The 27-year-old delivered on her promise with Dr Leah Ltd recording a pre-tax profit of £242,311 (€324,540) in the 12 months to the end of June after posting a loss of £49,684 in its first six months of business.
The accounts show sales rocketed in the firm’s first full 12 month period and increased fourfold from £176,362 to £706,926 (€938,701).
Ms Totton said yesterday she was delighted with the first full year of trading.
“We are a young company but are already trading very profitably and forecasting considerable growth in the coming 12 months,” she said.

She said that the company is expanding in England, but that “Ireland remains close to my heart and a key area of interest for Dr Leah Clinics”.
Customers at the central London clinic pay between £199 to £350 for Botox treatments.
Getting Ms Totton to apply the treatment costs an extra £50.
Those seeking lip enhancements at the clinic pay £300, which rises to £370 if Ms Totton applies the treatment.
It also offers a £382 fat reduction or fat freezing treatments for thighs, stomachs or arms.
The accounts show that the firm is well on its way to repaying the £250,000 that Sugar has invested in the firm.
He shared in a dividend of £150,000 last year.
