A major foreign direct investment conference taking place in London later this week is the ideal opportunity to attract a larger slice of the UK market to these shores.

Cork aims to tap into FDI

The upcoming fDi Forum which takes place on Thursday will give representatives of the Cork business community a chance to tap into the UK market in order to attract further investment.

Speaking ahead of the event, IDA Ireland South-West regional manager, Ray O’Connor said despite being on our doorstep, the UK market has not proven as successful a hunting ground from which to attract FDI as North America, for example.
