Three teenagers who last night won a prestigious award for budding entrepreneurs were said to be blazing a trail for the future of Ireland.

A trio of transition-year students from the Green Secondary School, Tralee, Co Kerry, who created a new social gaming events business, were announced as winners of the Young Entrepreneur Programme in Killarney.

The students claim their business makes the anti-social hobby of gaming at home more sociable by turning it into a competitive public event.
