INBS branches to close

IRISH Nationwide Building Society (INBS) will formally close its entire 49-strong retail branch network over the next four weeks.

INBS branches to close

The company is in the process of integrating its deposit book with that of Irish Life & Permanent (IL&P) — a deal which was announced back in February — and that will see the phasing out of its retail presence.

While INBS’ corporate headquarters, on Dublin’s Grand Parade, will remain, all branches will close and be subsumed into Permanent TSB branches.

The branch closures will happen on a phased basis throughout the remainder of this month and up to the middle of next month.

“It is expected that this branch integration process will be complete by May 17,” the company said.
