ISME chief calls for recovery plans

Cork: Businesses need to put a recovery plan in place now to seize on the opportunities presented by the downturn, according to ISME chief executive Mark Fielding.

Addressing the Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ ‘Members in Industry’ conference in Cork this weekend, Mr Fielding said recessions are cyclical and will pass.

He said businesses need to focus on developing a robust recovery plan that will allow them to seize on opportunities as the economy starts to recover.
