Holiday firm looks to break market

SMALL FAMILIES, a leading British operator of single parent holidays, is looking to break into the Irish market.

Based just outside Cambridge the company wants to form a partnership with an Irish firm able to package and sell its holidays.

Small Families started operations in 2002 after founders Allen Miller and Carole Cooper spotted a gap in the market.

The company has quickly grown to become the country’s leading operator for holidays exclusively for single parents.

“The breakdown of marriages means there are an increasing number of single parents looking for holidays,” said Ms Cooper.
