Almost 50% of adults use internet

ALMOST half of all Irish adults, 1.69m people, identify themselves as internet users, according to JNIR (Joint National Internet Research).

Subscribers to the JNIR include 19 of Ireland’s leading online properties, including Thomas Crosbie Media who operate the Irish Examiner website.

Commenting on the results, CEO of Thomas Crosbie Media, Angela Crowley, said: “We are very pleased with the performance of Irishexaminer.com and BreakingNews.ie as detailed in the JNIR survey.
