These figures, according to the company, show it is on track for double digit growth this year, with annual sales already ahead by 15%.

Turnover at year-end last year was €22.7m, which was a 12% growth on the previous year.

Each Snap Printing business in Ireland is owned and operated by individual franchise owners.

Group managing director, Muiris Murphy said yesterday: “Our overall results to-date this year are a good indicator of the confidence in the Irish business sector at the moment.

“Although these are challenging times for the Irish economy, we are finding companies are working harder to get their messages across.

“There is still a confidence in the market with companies prepared to invest in promoting their products and services,” he added.

Snap Printing has 23 franchised outlets nationwide and recently invested €4m in a print facility in Baldonnell, Dublin.

The company was founded by businessman Michael Kearney almost 25 years ago and employs 180 people in Ireland.

It is part of a larger network with over 160 centres in Australia, New Zealand and China.

Snap Printing opened three new franchises across Ireland last year and has increased its workforce by 20% over the last two years.
