German stocks down

German stocks declined, led by SAP AG after the company reported second-quarter sales from software licenses that missed analysts’ estimates.

Infineon Technologies AG also dropped.

The benchmark DAX Index slid 110.53, or 2%, to 5,527.29. All of the measure’s 30 members fell except Schering AG.
