Market down on light trading

The ISEQ finished slightly weaker yesterday. The exchange was 10.45 down, at 7,332.56.

AIB dropped 10c to €18.25. Bank of Ireland fell 17c to €13.75 with over three million shares changing hands. Irish Life and Permanent moved 35c ahead to €18.25.

CRH was 16c worse off at €24.94. Grafton Group was 4c lower closing down at €9.61. McInerney Holdings eased back 18c to €11.22. Kingspan Group bucked the trend finishing up 19c at €13.10.

Other main movers included Greencore which added 11c to €3.71. This is despite possible strike action from workers at their sugar packing facility. DCC jumped 33c to €18.05 following its subsidiary Sercom announcing a new office in China. Eircom rose 3c to €2.19.
