Adare post net loss of €2m

THE printing firm and book publisher Adare posted a net loss of just over €2 million last year, according to accounts just filed at the Companies Registration Office.

Accounts for NAPG Limited, which owns Adare Printing, show that the company fell into a loss in 2003 having made a profit of €473,529 the previous year.

For the 12 months to the end of April 2003 Adare, which also owns the educational book publisher CJ Fallon, saw turnover fall from €276 million to €268 million. The company did not say where the drop in turnover came from.
