Tayto announce scholarship fund

Crisp manufacturer Tayto has announced the institution of a scholarship fund at Dublin City University in the name of the brand’s founder, Joseph Murphy.

The announcement was made by John Keogh, Tayto managing director, as part of the company’s celebrations to mark its 50th birthday.

The scholarship will provide educational opportunities to disadvantaged students from the area near Tayto’s Coolock plant.
